Introduction

Hello,

We are proud to begin serving the Tyler and surrounding communities through the new addition of our website. We plan on posting updates on clutches, litters, goals and overall wacky subjects. My name is Roger and my wife's name is Hannah. Together, we run Calvary Exotics out of our home. It has been absolutely treacherous and borderline terrifying putting all of this together. Our long term goal is to get into a reasonable unit and begin expanding our collections to provide the community with more exotic animals. But for now, we operate out of our household and we appreciate all of our customers who have supported us until now.

Currently, we are in the process of establishing a ball python breeding operation and we plan on selling at expos. We started thing endeavor in 2021 and we have somehow managed to get into pet rats along the way. We have over a hundred breeder rats supplying feeders to our customers. From these feeders, we have already experienced two random gene mutations and we have been able to breed out pet quality lines that we now keep completely separate from our feeder operation. We took a stab at acquiring some siamese rats to sell locally and we bought from a small breeder in Dallas. These rats ended up proving to be carriers of the recessive hairless gene which we are now working into our lines. To top things off we had our very own dumbo ear mutation occur as well. This was our second mutation to occur. Our first mutation is what drove us into making a separation of lines and that was our merle gene. Our merle gene mutated in our collection and it is henceforth known as the Calvary Merle Rat. This gene launched our obsession with pet rats and we now serve the local community and we are looking to work with pet shops and provide them with quality pets. Our future and soon to be present projects include parakeets, hedgehogs and leopard geckos. We are currently building up our equipment and reinvesting our money into a detached room in order to expand our breeding and make things more efficient. This efficiency will help us become more consistent and resourceful for our customers. We appreciate everyone who has supported us so far and can't wait to meet more of you. With Grace, Calvary Exotics
